FORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCES

Meeting Renée Bouchon

Meeting Renee Bouchon.jpg

It is such a joy when you finally get to meet an artist who you have admired for years. Fortunately, I had the pleasure of meeting Renée Bouchon at this year’s Fall High Point Market. Our paths crossed in Pearson’s Furniture showroom where her artwork was being displayed amongst Kim Scordro’s designs. Renée’s pieces and Kim’s design immediately pulled me into their beautiful space: soft hues, soothing textures and style. Therefore, right when I walked in, I immediately fell in love with a piece. Renée’s pieces have the ability to make you smile, specifically piece pictured below. It put the biggest smile on my face: the colors, textures, shapes and her signature charcoal markings left an impression on me

I feel so fortunate to have met such a talented artist but also a kind, down to earth person. Thank you Renée for creating such a beautiful piece!
