Sallie is a trained artist from Columbus, Ga. with a degree in Hospitality Management and a minor in Business from Auburn University. She grew up in art classes and continued her art education in New York City where she studied Art at Parsons The New School for a summer during her undergrad. After school she took a management position at Gregg Irby Gallery in Atlanta, GA where she learned the ins-and-outs of the art world.
Now a full-time watercolor and commission artist, Sallie lives and works in Denver, CO with her husband, where she specializes in watercolor wildlife portraits and decorative pieces with gold leaf accents. A southern girl at heart, Sallie's memories of days spent in the country with her dad and grandfather and her mother's southern hospitality have molded her unique style along with her husband's passion for fishing and all things outdoors.
